Rise & Connect brought together founders and investors for an intimate breakfast session in Singapore, designed to foster meaningful conversations beyond surface-level networking. Hosted by Auptimate alongside INSEAD Angels Asia, Angel School, NUS Alumni Ventures, and AngelCentral, the event created a focused environment for high-quality engagement.
Held at Hapi Cafe, the Singapore edition welcomed a carefully curated group of angel investors, fund managers, and early-stage founders. Over a relaxed breakfast, conversations explored practical approaches to angel investing, venture capital decision-making, and how cross-border deal activity continues to shape opportunities across Asia and the Middle East. The smaller format encouraged honest dialogue, thoughtful questions, and genuine relationship building.
A highlight of the morning was hearing directly from founders at Bueno, Diolko, OKcontract, KinetixPro, and Rolo Robotics, who openly shared their journeys, lessons from fundraising, and what they look for in long-term investor partnerships.
